Ajit may have put an end to speculations about his joining BJP. But recent political developments are indicating otherwise. Recently NCP meeting was held in Mumbai. But Ajit did not participate in it. Then he referred to his pre-scheduled programs. Ajit Pawar had said that he could not attend the NCP meeting because he had to attend other programs. At the same time, NCP had said that Ajit not attending the party meeting does not mean that he is planning to leave the organization.
At the same time, Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule accused the leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi of defaming Ajit Pawar and questioning his credibility. Bawankule said that Ajit Pawar has not met him for the last three months, nor has he met top leaders of the government. Bawankule said that MVA leaders are defaming Ajit Pawar.
