Late on Wednesday night, two cars collided, causing a massive traffic tragedy on Alipur Road that left at least four people dead and several more wounded.
Kanwar’s vehicle reportedly collided with another vehicles, according to reports.
One of the vehicles was transporting pilgrims known as kanwar yatris to Haridwar. The police claim that the truck travelling towards Delhi lost control, crossed the centre line, and collided with another vehicle travelling towards Haridwar. Four people perished there and 15 were wounded overall. According to a police statement, the remaining yatris are being tracked down. The second truck’s driver, who over the barrier, is on the run.
