During the signing of a new nuclear weapons agreement, Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, warned the US and South Korea and referred to US Vice President Joe Biden as “senile” and “too miscalculating and irresponsibly brave” for his comments.
Kim Yo Jong was quoted by the state news agency KCNA as saying, “When we consider that this expression was personally used by the president of the US, our most hostile adversary, it is threatening rhetoric for which he should be prepared for far too great an after-storm.”
“The stronger the exercise of our right to self-defence will become in direct proportion to them,” she continued. “The more the adversaries are dead set on staging nuclear war drills, and the more nuclear assets they deploy in the neighbourhood of the Korean peninsula.
She added, “The entity of more robust strength will henceforth be faced with the pipe dream of the US and (South) Korea.
Joe Biden recently stated that if Kim Jong Un were to launch a nuclear strike on the United States or its allies, his regime would be overthrown. Biden had stated earlier this week that a nuclear assault by North Korea against the United States or its allies or partners would be intolerable and bring an end to whatever dictatorship took such a step.
