NCP leader Sharad Pawar claims that in 1992, despite the advise of his ministers, then-PM PV Narasimha Rao trusted BJP leader Vijaya Raje Scindia when she told him that nothing would happen to the Babri Masjid.

According to PTI, Pawar made these remarks during the book launch for renowned journalist Neerja Chowdhury’s book, “How Prime Ministers Decide.”
