In an early-morning encounter on Thursday, Delhi Police captured contract murderer Kamil, who is sought in many murder cases. The offender sustained gunshot wounds during the shootout with the police and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
When requested to surrender, Kamil allegedly opened fire on the police crew. He was shot in the leg by the cops in retaliation, and as a result, he was captured in an incident near Rohini Sector 29–30.
More than 12 complaints have been filed against Kamil, according to the police, including a recent one in which a person was murdered during gunfire in Delhi’s Jama Masjid neighborhood.
On Kamil, a gun was discovered. More inquiries are being conducted.
