It is estimated that this cyclone will affect Mumbai, Palghar, Konkan coastal areas of the state and Gujarat will also be hit by this cyclone. According to the information provided by the Meteorological Department, the coastal areas of Maharashtra will experience large waves at this time, while the coastal areas of Mumbai, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri Sindhudurg will experience waves along with stormy winds.
According to IMD, Southwest Monsoon is now set to enter Karnataka and Tamil Nadu after the arrival of monsoon in Kerala. On the other hand, due to the formation of a low pressure area over the Northeast Bay of Bengal, the northeastern states will also receive monsoon rains in the next two days. According to IMD, North West India is witnessing good monsoon conditions during the fourth week of June and the first week of July.

Kerala and coastal Karnataka will receive heavy rainfall in the next three days, while Lakshadweep will continue to experience similar conditions in the next two days. Overall, thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are expected in the region next week. On the other hand, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim will receive heavy rainfall from Sunday to Tuesday. Andaman and Nicobar Islands will receive heavy rainfall from Saturday to Sunday.
The IMD has said that there will be no severe weather changes over the rest of India in the coming weeks. The maximum temperature will drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius in the central part of India in the next two days. Heat wave will be felt in some parts of Bihar from Saturday to Tuesday. A similar situation will be experienced in the West Bengal region of Ganga during these days.

According to Manorama Mohante, Director of Science Center of Meteorological Department in Ahmedabad, ‘Due to this cyclone, the wind speed may be 45 to 55 knots per hour on June 10, 11 and 12. Wind speed can also go up to 65 knots. The cyclone may cause light rain over coastal areas including South Gujarat and Saurashtra. All ports have been informed about this.’
