According to reports, Kylian Mbappé has declined to meet with officials from the Saudi Arabian football side Al-Hilal, which has made a record offer for the France striker.
The Paris Saint-Germain player refused not meet with Al-Hilal representatives, who were in Paris to sign Brazilian striker Malcom, according to the French sports newspaper L’Equipe on Wednesday.
On Monday, Al-Hilal made a record offer for Mbappé of 300 million euros ($332 million).
Instead of letting the World Cup star go unpaid when his contract ends in a year, PSG wants to make money off of him right then.
Lionel Messi left Al-Hilal for Inter Miami after spending two years at PSG.
Mbappé, 24, is at odds with PSG after choosing not to exercise his right to a 12-month extension. He will instead go as a free agent in 2025, when it is largely anticipated that he would sign with Real Madrid.
Malcom was finally signed by Al-Hilal on a four-year contract. The 26-year-old winger had previously played for Zenit St. Petersburg during the previous four years.
