Several individuals were hurt when a barrier covering the throng that had gathered to see the significant event in the Anna Nagar district of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, collapsed.
A large throng is seen lining up to get a glimpse of individuals standing on the stage of the event in a video released by the news agency ANI. Drones were also utilized to track the movement of the large throng, and Tamil Nadu police officers were there to oversee administration and security.
First assistance was given to those hurt when the barrier collapsed, and those with more serious wounds were transferred to a local hospital for care. So yet, there have been no recorded casualties.
