Before Today’s Monsoon Session Of Parliament, The Center Requests An All-party Meeting

The Center has asked for an all-party conference to be held today to discuss different problems before the start of the monsoon session of the Parliament.

Beginning on July 20, the Parliament will have its monsoon session.

It is well-known that the all-party meeting on the eve of the session’s start is a regular occasion when different political parties present their problems in front of top government ministers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already taken part in a lot of these sessions.

A similar all-party meeting was also requested by Jagdeep Dhankhar, the chair of the Rajya Sabha, but it was postponed on Tuesday owing to the unavailability of several party leaders.

In connection with the all-party conference that the government had convened, it has been reported that Rajnath Singh, the minister of defense, met with several of his cabinet members, including Pralhad Joshi, the minister of parliamentary affairs, and Piyush Goyal, the leader of the house in the Rajya Sabha.

According to media sources, separate meetings of BJP leaders would be conducted on Wednesday, followed by meetings of the BJP-led NDA, in an effort to determine the strategy for the parliamentary session.

BJP-Opposition hostility
As both the BJP and the Opposition parties intensify their assaults on one another in front of a number of state elections this year and the Lok Sabha election in 2024, the Parliament session is predicted to be turbulent.

Along with the concerns of price increases and alleged abuse of investigative agencies, the Congress and other opposition parties are attempting to put pressure on the administration over the Manipur situation.
