Rahul Gandhi has been under fire from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Karnataka, claiming that the Congress MP’s “close aides” have been arrested for shouting “Pakistan Zindabad” inside Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru.
The state BJP further asserted that treason charges and an investigation under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act ought to be brought against the “anti-national” Congress personnel.

“Bengaluru police have arrested Rahul Gandhi’s close aides for yelling “Pakistan Zindabad” in Vidhana Soudha as he is occupied with a public stunt called “Bharat Todo.” Workers against the National Congress should face treason charges and be looked into under UAPA, the Karnataka branch of the BJP stated in a post on ‘X’.
Additionally, it called for Congress MP Naseer Hussain, who was just elected to the Rajya Sabha, to quit.
“Congress MP Naseer Saab should be asked to retire right away by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. Congress, which is descended from Pakistan, has once again demonstrated its allegiance.”
The BJP has been celebrating party leader Naseer Hussain’s victory in the Rajya Sabha elections while objecting to the alleged use of “Pakistan Zindabad” shouts by Congress workers outside the Assembly.
A press release from the Vidhan Soudha police station, which said that three people have been arrested in connection with the event based on the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report, was also published by the BJP Karnataka ‘X’ handle.
“Three accused persons were arrested, and legal action was initiated against them based on the FSL report, circumstantial evidence, witness statements, and available evidence,” the news release from Bangalore City’s Central Division of the Deputy Commissioner of Police stated.
Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara stated that the report from the private organisation cannot be taken into consideration earlier on Sunday, following the BJP’s citation of a private lab study and its assertion that it is extremely likely that “Pakistan Zindabad” shouts were heard outside the Vidhan Souda. In addition, Parameshwara stated that the government will act on the Home Department’s forensic report.
A study from a private laboratory known as the BJP used Clue4 Evidence Forensic Investigations Private Limited. The business bills itself on its website as a committed corporate body that has gained recognition as an expert forensic laboratory in the field of testing and investigations.
