Over 50 hospitals in Mumbai have received bomb threats by email, including Jaslok Hospital, Raheja Hospital, Seven Hills Hospital, Kohinoor Hospital, KEM Hospital, JJ Hospital, and St. George Hospital. The Mumbai Police confirmed the use of a VPN network to send threatening emails.

The police stated that they have not yet determined the sender’s identity or the purpose behind the threat.

The Hinduja College of Commerce in Mumbai was also sent a fictitious email that threatened to blow it up, according to ANI.

“When the bomb squad and local police arrived, they began an investigation, but they found nothing untoward. The VP Road police station in Mumbai is looking into this, according to police quotes cited by ANI.

The bomb threats were received on the same day as similar threats at 41 airports throughout the country, including Chennai, Patna, and Jaipur. This prompted authorities to quickly assemble backup plans and conduct extensive anti-sabotage investigations that took hours to complete, all of which turned out to be hoaxes.

The airports received nearly identical emails saying, “Hello, there are explosives hidden in the airport.” The explosives will go off soon. Every one of you will perish.”

After receiving the threat, officials at the airports in Patna and Nagpur searched their premises thoroughly, but they were unable to find anything.

Anchal Prakash, the director of the Patna airport, stated: “Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport, along with 41 other airports, got an email containing a bomb threat. The meeting of the Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) was called to order. and discovered that the threat lacked specificity.”

Due to the hoax threat, a 286-person flight from Chennai to Dubai was delayed at the airport.
