With the newest skin, the top airline Air India ran its first A350-900 ferry trip from Singapore to Toulouse on Friday. The authorities have said that the aircraft received new paint and costumes in Singapore.

The plane is now back on course, returning to Toulouse for further crucial repairs. December 2023 is when the aircraft is supposed to be delivered.

Meanwhile, the Tata-owned airline purchased the nation’s first Airbus A350-900 aircraft last month with the intention of growing its international network. According to the report, a financing leasing transaction with HSBC was used to complete the sale.

Additionally, officials have said that it is expected that Air India would get its first six Airbus A350-900 consignments by the end of 2023. The remaining planes, however, are expected to arrive sometime in March of the following year.

In addition, Air India has ordered 470 more planes to strengthen the network. A321neo, A320neo, 190 Boeing 737MAX narrowbody aircraft, 20 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, 34 A350-1000, 10 Boeing 777X widebody aircraft, and 70 Airbus A321neo are among the list of aircraft.
