Using the names of Bal Thackeray and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to win elections, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray broke his party’s “natural alliance” with the BJP, according to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
In response to the NCP under Ajit Pawar entering the governing coalition, Shinde has embarked on a statewide tour. He was addressing at a rally here. “These individuals used the images of Bal Thackeray and Modi to garner support before abandoning them by allying with the Congress. They abandoned the voting public and abused the people’s authority. He questioned, “Who are the true traitors?
Modi accomplished Bal Thackeray’s objective of repealing Article 370, but Shinde said that Uddhav Thackeray betrayed the prime minister. The chief minister said that many people find it difficult to understand his government’s openness and the fact that, unlike in the past, the doors of his official mansion, “Varsha,” are constantly open to anyone.
In its partnership with the Sena, the BJP acted honorably, according to Shinde, who also said that the saffron party had the opportunity to seize control of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) during the 2017 elections but chose to allow the Sena to maintain its dominance.
The chief minister said that while the BJP had an adequate number of supporters, Devendra Fadnavis had a big heart and enabled the Sena to establish a claim. As a result, the Uddhav Thackeray group is now criticizing him.
He said that throughout the two and a half years of the Thackeray-led administration, no decisions were made. We now have Ajit Pawar alongside us, which will quicken our speed, Shinde said.
