Nashik: Dada Bhuse, the Guardian Minister, recently expressed his views on the current state of affairs in an interaction with reporters during his visit to Nashik. While acknowledging the frequent appearances of Sanjay Raut on television in recent months, Bhuse pointed out that Raut’s presence has dwindled in the past few days. In a warning to Sanjay Raut, he emphasized that his influence will diminish completely in the near future.
When asked about the possible inclusion of MLAs from Nashik in the anticipated cabinet expansion, Bhuse chose to exercise caution and refrained from commenting, stating that the decision lies solely with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
During his conversation, Dada Bhuse criticized Sanjay Raut’s behavior, citing an incident where Raut spat in front of the camera a few days ago. This action has garnered mixed reactions, particularly in rural areas, where Bhuse mentioned that a grandmother complained to him about falling ill after being exposed to such behavior.
Bhuse further revealed that on the upcoming 57th foundation day of Shivsena on June 19, the state government’s accomplishments, decisions in the public interest, and welfare schemes will be communicated to the people throughout the year.
Addressing administrative matters, Dada Bhuse acknowledged some disruptions due to the transfer and additional responsibilities of the Collector, Police Commissioner, and Municipal Commissioner. Nonetheless, he assured that day-to-day operations are functioning smoothly. He emphasized the importance of appointing a highly educated officer as the Nashik Municipal Commissioner (Nashik NMC) and confirmed that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has made an early decision in this regard.
With the simultaneous occurrence of Ashadhi Ekadashi and Bakri Eid, Dada Bhuse mentioned that the Commissioner of Police and the Superintendent of Police have held discussions to ensure the peaceful and harmonious celebration of both festivals, given the current situation of unrest in the state. He expressed his instructions to make efforts in maintaining peace.
Regarding the distribution of district planning funds, the Guardian Minister acknowledged that certain taluks had been subjected to injustice in previous allocations. He defended the allocation of additional resources to address the backlog in such taluks, emphasizing that the District Planning Committee’s funds are meant for the overall development of the district. Bhuse clarified that NCP MLAs are not opposed to him, as each taluka has received funds previously, with all the corresponding records available.
Commenting on fund allocation, Bhuse highlighted instances where Chhagan Bhujbal, another political figure, would request proposals exceeding the available funds. While some proposals are rejected, larger amounts are sanctioned, going beyond the allocated budget. Bhuse made it clear that no MLA benefits from this situation and no new projects are initiated. Chhagan Bhujbal warned of initiating an inquiry and taking the matter to court to address these concerns.
