Dalit Young Boy Killed By Goons For Celebrating Ambedkar Jayanti In Nanded! Seven Accused Arrested

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Nanded, Maharashtra. Seven people have been arrested for allegedly killing a 24-year-old Dalit young boy in the state’s Nanded district on the occasion of Dr BR Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. A Nanded police official said that the incident took place two days back in Bondar Haveli village. He told that the deceased was identified as Akshay Bhalerao.

Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated on 14 April. In this case, an FIR has been registered under various sections of the Indian Penal Code besides the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and seven accused have been arrested. At present, the police investigation is on in this case. The deceased young boy was 24 years old. It is being told that the deceased boy had attended the Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations. The accused were angry about this only. NCP chief Sharad Pawar has termed this incident as extremely unfortunate. Along with this, he has demanded the Shinde government to investigate the incident. Two accused in this case are still absconding.

The seven accused arrested by the police are Santosh Sanjay Tidke, Narayan Vishwanath Tidke, Dutta and Krishna Govind Tidke. At the same time, Mahadhu and Nilaknath are also included in the accused. The court has sent all the arrested accused to police custody for seven days. A case has been registered against these accused under 16 sections. At present, the police is engaged in the investigation of the case. Raids are being conducted in different areas to arrest the other two accused. Soon he will also be arrested.
