The Nifty futures contract traded on the Singapore Exchange suggests that local stocks are off to a good start. The contract was up 25 points, or 0.14%, from the previous close, trading at 17,442.50.

Eicher Motors Ltd
The automaker announced that the number of Royal Enfield bikes it sold in March 2023 increased by 6.73 percent to 72,235 from 67,677 during the same month previous year. During the fiscal year that ended in March 2023, Royal Enfield sold 8,34,895 bikes, a 39 percent increase over the previous year’s total sales.
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd
During the fiscal year 2023, the automaker reported total sales of 1,966,164 units, which was a record high. In addition, Maruti Suzuki said that it sold 170,071 passenger cars (PVs) in March 2023, 324 less than it did during the same month last year.
Hero MotoCorp Ltd
The manufacturer of bikes and scooters sold 519,342 units in March 2023, a 15% increase in sales from the same month last year. The locally based business exceeded 5.3 million unit sales in the fiscal year 2023. In the fiscal year, the corporation sold 53,28,546 units, an eight percent increase over the prior year.
Tata Motors Ltd
According to the Tata group firm, overall domestic wholesales increased by 3% to 89,351 units in March compared to the same month last year. In March 2022, the firm sold 86,718 units. The firm sold 9,31,957 units in the domestic market in the fiscal year 2023, an increase of 35% over the fiscal year 2022.
CSB Bank Ltd
During the quarter that ended in March 2023, the lender recorded an increase in total deposits of 21.39 percent. Compared to the same time last year, deposits totaled Rs 24,505.8 crore instead of Rs 20,188.3 crore. Term deposits and CASA both saw increases of 16.06 and 24.09 percent. The total amount increased by 30.28% to Rs 20,841.66 crore.
Karnataka Bank Ltd
During the three months ending March 31, 2023, the lender recorded an increase in CASA of 8.71 percent to Rs 28,807.04. The bank’s gross advances grew 6.16 percent while its total deposits jumped 8.69%.
