The work on satara-medha road has become faulty and the side strips have been kept low. There are no signboards in some places about villages, schools and diversions. Though the road work has been done new, the road has collapsed in many places. In many places, there are disputes. Glossine radium and rumbler strips were not applied. Even on such faulty roads, vehicles are moving at a high speed. If speed breakers cannot be built near the village, then another measure like that needs to be taken. Otherwise, lives will continue to be lost,” said Shivajirao Ghorpade, a social worker.
