What is the history of International Tea Day?

It is said that tea was first discovered in China. It was first tasted by the Chinese emperor Shen Nung. After this, the British first started growing tea crop in India in 1824 and then it was grown in Darjeeling, Nilgiris and Assam.

Start the day with these teas –

1. Mint tea

To make mint tea, first put 2 cups of water in a vessel, add 7-8 mint leaves, half a teaspoon black pepper, a little black or rock salt and boil it for 5 minutes. After that filter it and consume it. If you want, you can also add milk to it. It cures many health related problems in a natural way.

2. Clove tea

To make this, first of all, take cloves, cumin and cinnamon and put them in a tawa and roast them lightly to make powder. After that, whenever you want to make tea, put it in hot water and make it. This tea helps in weight loss and keeping the heart and lungs healthy.

3. Celery tea

For this, put 2 cups of water in a pan and boil it. After this, put half a spoon of celery in it and boil it on low flame. If you want, you can also put some basil leaves in it. When this 1 cup is left, filter it and consume it lukewarm.

4. Ginger Tea

For ginger tea, after making simple tea, put ginger in it. Ginger tea helps in getting rid of seasonal flu and infections.

5. Amla tea

To make this tea, first put one and a half or two cups of water in a pan and heat it. When it becomes hot, add 1 spoon of amla powder, a small piece of ginger after grinding it. After this add 2-3 mint leaves. Now let it boil on the flame for about 2 minutes. After this, turn off the gas and filter the tea in a cup. Consuming it regularly on an empty stomach keeps the sugar level under control.
