On Tuesday in Gujarat’s Panchmahal district, a private luxury bus collided with a halted bus on a highway close to Godhra town, causing four fatalities and eleven injuries, according to an official.
He added that two children were among the fatalities.

Godhra Sub-Divisional Magistrate Pravinsinh Jaytavat reports that the accident occurred at around 3.30 am on the Dahod-Godhra highway as an Indore-bound bus was being repaired on the side of the road after a mechanical malfunction caused it to halt.
“The driver of a different luxury bus traveling from Dahod struck the stopped bus from behind after failing to see it was halted up ahead. Two ladies and two children were among the four passengers who perished in the collision, he added.
According to the official, out of the eleven individuals who were hurt, nine were receiving treatment in a municipal hospital in Godhra, while the other two were transferred to Vadodara for further medical attention due to their significant injuries.
