In a dig at Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who blamed Miya Muslims for the skyrocketing price of vegetables in Guwahati, AIMIM Chief Asauddin Owaisi claimed that there is a group in the nation that will blame Miya Muslims for anything that goes wrong, whether the buffalo does not give milk or the hen does not lay eggs. Bangladesh is where the Miya Muslims originated. According to Himanta Biswa, Miya Muslims have been raising prices in Guwahati while rural regions have reduced pricing for vegetables.
“Today, Miya Muslims make up the majority of vegetable vendors, rickshaw pullers, bus drivers, and Ola-Uber drivers. The Assam chief minister made the statement in response to AIUDF’s Badruddin Ajmal, who had previously said that Assam would be incomplete without the Miya people.
In response to Himanta Biswa’s assertion, Owaisi said that PM Modi had great ties with non-Muslims. Owaisi tweeted, “Ask them for some tomatoes, spinach, and potatoes.” People in this nation have a tendency to blame Miya Muslims when their animals don’t produce milk or lay eggs, for example. They will also hold Miya Muslims accountable for all of their own shortcomings. Modiji now has close relationships with overseas Muslims. Get some potatoes, tomatoes, and spinach from them, said Owaisi.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi awarded PM Modi the “Order of the Nile,” the nation of Egypt’s highest distinction, during a recent state visit. Al-Issa, the secretary general of the Muslim World League, welcomed PM Modi to Delhi after receiving an official invitation from the Indian government.
The Assam Chief Minister has already attacked Miya Muslims. A Miya museum was purportedly locked last year under his directive. Himanta said at the time that except from the lungi, nothing else in the museum belonged to the Miya Muslims.
