On Monday, a school in the Pushp Vihar neighborhood of South Delhi got a bomb threat.
At 6:35 am, the Amrita School received the threat through email.
The children and staff were ordered to leave the area before the Delhi Police’s bomb disposal squad arrived.
BDT (Bomb Disposal Team) has extensively searched the school, but nothing has been discovered, according to Chandan Chowdhary, Deputy Commissioner of Police for South Delhi.
A similar occurrence occurred a few days earlier in the nation’s capital when the Delhi Public School on Mathura Road got an email claiming that a bomb had been hidden on the property. It eventually emerged that the email was a fake, according to authorities. The first phony bomb threat, which was issued about a month ago, and this occurrence are comparable.
