Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis, dedicated a Ram Rath in Mumbai on Tuesday, January 2.Devendra Fadnavis declared that he is a proud Karsevak and that he has participated in all three Karsevas for Ayodhya Ram Mandir at a media interview on this particular occasion.
BJP politician Shweta Shalini commissioned the chariot meant to visit people door to door, inviting them to celebrate the consecration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya at their various local areas.
Fadnavis expressed his pride at having been present in Ayodhya during the demolition of the contentious Ram Janmabhoomi edifice. He declared that Babur’s stain on Indian culture has been lifted.
“We all know that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple will be consecrated on January 22nd,” stated Devendra Fadnavis. Right now, India as a nation is experiencing the Ram Wave. Furthermore, not everyone is currently able to visit Ayodhya. However, everyone aspires to receive a glimpse of the Shri Ram Mandir in some way. For this reason, here in Mumbai, a “Ram Rath” (Ram Chariot) has been prepared. I’d want to thank Shweta Shalini for creating such a lovely Ramadan. To officially open this Ram Rath, Girish Mahajan, Rohit Shetty, and I am present. This Ram Rath will begin as soon as the puja rituals are completed. People will receive this Ram Rath by going door to door. In this Rath, those unable to travel to Ayodhya would be able to see Ram Darbar.
He went on, “Lord Shri Ram is for everyone, believers and non-believers alike. Nobody is prevented from having faith in him. You are welcome to worship Shri Ram. This is a momentous occasion. The country is currently building the temple dedicated to Lord Shri Ram, following 500 years of hardship. We are making efforts to eradicate the stigma that Babur placed upon us. The temple will house the idol of Lord Ram, who is highly adored in this nation. Thus, engaging in politics at this time is of extremely poor calibre. Now is the moment to set aside all disagreements, fold your hands before Rama, and observe how Ram becomes the centre of the nation.
“It is apt to perform puja rituals in 150000 temples in the state on the consecration day because very few people can go to Ayodhya on that day,” he added, discussing the consecration ceremony celebrations held in all of Maharashtra’s temples. For us, beloved Ram Ji will always be present at any temple. For us, our Ayodhya Ji is there in every temple. Thus, in our Ayodhya, we shall have the Darshan of Lord Ram as we witness in those temples. This isn’t limited to Maharashtra either. There isn’t a single temple in the nation where the consecration ritual of the Shri Ram Janamabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya isn’t celebrated. Everywhere we go, we’ll celebrate. I believe that the entire nation, including all of Maharashtra’s states, need to celebrate it.
Devendra Fadnavis also talked about his experiences with the Karseva and the December 6, 1992, demolition of the disputed building on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. He declared, “Since they were the ones hiding in their homes during Karseva, I don’t care about the people who criticised us for the disputed Babri structure demolition incident.” They all avoided going for a Karseva. Why should I discuss them here? We take great pride in being Karsevaks. I was present at all three Karsevas. In Badaun, I was even imprisoned. I am really happy to say that I was present in Ayodhya when the contentious building, which was a stain on our reputation, was demolished. Since they were not present at the time, some people are envious of us. Sitting comfortably inside their homes, they were scared. Therefore, why should I respond to their criticism?
“The temple of Lord Shri Ram is a temple of faith and identity of the country,” Devendra Fadnavis continued. This is not a party or ideology-specific event. Irrespective of their religious affiliation, this event is the property of all Hindus living in the nation and anyone who appreciates Indian culture. thus the stain that was placed on Indian culture has already disappeared. It’s all about claiming our identities back. People who become involved in politics over it lack intelligence. I refuse to respond to their lack of intelligence. It’s a moment for everyone. This celebration will be enjoyed by everyone who believe they have triumphed over the struggle for their identity, whether they be Hindu or Indian.
On January 22, 2024, the Shri Ram Mandir on the Shri Ram Janambhoomi in Ayodhya will be dedicated. On this special day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will carry out the Puja ceremonies and install the idol of Lord Ram in the Ram Mandir’s sanctum sanctorum.
