Working President of the Nationalist Congress Party Supriya Sule stated that the unity of the opposition parties against the Bharatiya Janata Party at the centre will not be harmed by NCP leader Ajit Pawar’s new post as deputy chief minister for the Eknath Shinde administration.

Supriya Sule, the daughter of NCP chief Sharad Pawar, spoke at a press conference late on Sunday night and said, “Our credibility will only rise after this.”

Sule also remarked that although she and Ajit Pawar might have differing opinions about their party, she couldn’t argue with her elder brother since, as PTI noted, “she will always love him as a sister.”

Ajit Pawar took his oath as the deputy chief minister in the Shiv Sena-BJP administration on Sunday, supported by a group of NCP leaders. At the yesterday’s swearing-in ceremony, eight reportedly additional leaders were also sworn in as ministers.

Sule is said to have become more responsible with her duties with the party since Ajit Pawar’s uprising in 2019 to join the Devendra Fadnavis-led government, which may have been stifled by her new position as the working president of the NCP since last month.

Supriya Sule has stated that she does not want to combine her personal and professional ties, according to PTI. I can never fight with my brother, the woman remarked.

Sule continued, “I am boring, steady, and not impulsive… “Professional job and emotional relationships are two entirely different things. I never combine the two.

Sule went on to say that yesterday was just another difficult day for her because of all the recent political changes affecting her party in the state.

On Sunday morning, a meeting was arranged at Ajit Pawar’s official residence, “Devgiri,” in Mumbai. Sule reportedly promised to keep their conversation private and not expose anything they discussed.

Sule reassured the media that NCP will continue to strive for the benefit of the state and the nation with fresh zeal.

When asked if she believed the NCP would discipline the other politicians who supported Ajit Pawar and were appointed as ministers in the administration, Supriya Sule reportedly responded, “Let the tale unfold. It has just been a few hours.

Senior leader of the Nationalist Congress Party Ajit Pawar met with several party members and MLAs on Sunday at his official residence in Mumbai.

Ajit Pawar might hold different opinions, according to Sule. She said, “We both are mature enough to separate our personal and professional lives.”

Sule reportedly added, “Nobody knows how many MLAs are with Ajit Pawar.”

She said, “I talk to them every time,” when asked if she was speaking to any of them. Every NCP MLA is valuable. We have respect, love, and love. We have resided as a unit.
