The figures updated at 8 am revealed that the number of deaths caused by the illness has risen to 5,31,912.
The number of coronavirus infections in the nation is 4.49 crore (4,49,94,543), according to the government.
The results indicated that the national COVID-19 recovery rate is at 98.81 percent and that there are now 4,44,61,168 persons who are disease-free.
The current case fatality rate is 1.18 percent.
On the nation as a whole, 220.66 crore doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been provided, according to the ministry’s website.
