A recent incidence from Jetpur has come to light, strikingly resembling the previously uncovered effort to convert Hindu teenagers via an online game. This time, the conversion occurred via Instagram, where a Hindu teenager converted to Islam in order to wed a Bangladeshi woman he had met there.
Videos with Zakir Naik were a big influence on the young man. The individual was successfully guided and reintegrated back into the Sanatan faith, as he performed a Ghar Wapasi three days back, thanks to a successful collaboration between Hindu organisations and renowned saints from Jetpur, according to sources, which is a positive development.
A Hindu teenager in Jetpur converted to Islam, and the news quickly went viral. The guy in question, Ashish Goswami, adopted the new faith and changed his name to Sheikh Mohammad Alsami. When Ashish arrived at the Jetpur government hospital for circumcision and raised a disturbance there with two Muslim buddies, things got worse. The situation was finally brought to the local police station’s notice on Wednesday, which led to a more thorough inquiry.

The young man returned to the Sanatan fold after receiving guidance from the mahant of the Narasimha temple.
By Wednesday evening, the news had reached the local Hindu organisations, and a wave of rage had rushed through them. The revered head of the local Hindu Dharma Sena and mahant of the Narasimha temple in Jetpur, Kanhaiyanand Maharaj, wasted no time in acting to save the Hindu teenager from the clutches of conversion. He gathered a sizeable number of Hindu teenagers and paid a personal visit to the young man’s home late at night as a sign of support.
After two hours of talk, the young man, Ashish Goswami, started to admit his mistake and understood that he had fallen prey to Islamic ideas. Ashish Goswami felt profound regret while feeling overtaken by regret. Mahant Kanhaiyanand Maharaj applied a Chandan tilak to Ashish’s forehead to symbolise his return to the Sanatan Dharma as a mark of his return to the ancient religion. Under the mahant’s direction, the young man trimmed his beard, which was reminiscent of the Muslim custom, as a sign of confirmation. The young man made a public announcement of his reconnection to his Hindu roots in this way.
In the end, Hindu organisations’ combined efforts were effective in reintegrating the Hindu youth from Jetpur into the Sanatan fold. This young man was persuaded to convert to Islam by Zakir Naik. Passionate activists from various groups gathered outside the youth’s home late into the night and chanted “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and “Jai Shri Ram.” The group also chanted the Hanuman Chalisa as a unifying gesture, with the once-converted youth eagerly participating to show his newfound ties to his Hindu ancestry.
“The young man was influenced by Zakir Naik and other clerics like him,” the statement read. Mahatma Kanhaiyanand
Mahant Kanhaiyanand Maharaj, who is also the head of the Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti’s Saurashtra province, said in an exclusive interview with OpIndia, “When I received news of the incident around 5 pm yesterday while I was in Gandhinagar, I immediately grasped the gravity of the situation. My colleagues and I hurried to Jetpur without any further delay. We arrived at the young man’s home at nine o’clock and started making sincere attempts to persuade him of his error.
Adding more detail, Mahant Kanhaiyanand Maharaj said, “Around 11 pm, we observed a breakthrough as the young man attained a condition of stability and understood our viewpoint. He sobbed bitterly, overcome with regret. I performed the rite of applying Chandan Tilak to his forehead, signifying his return to the Sanatan Dharma, and gave him comfort and support.
The young man also received helpful advice from Mahant Kanhaiyanand Maharaj, who emphasised the value of daily Bhagavad Gita reading. He told the young man that he is always accessible as a dependable source of direction and support in the event that any doubts or inquiries about Sanatan Dharma emerge.
Mahant Kanhaiyanand revealed that the youth’s desire to become an Islam was influenced by the likes of clerics like Zakir Naik, a wanted Islamic preacher. This epiphany demonstrated the youth’s conversion to Christianity as a result of the huge influence these people had on him.
