Interstate Narcotics Cartel Busted By Delhi Police Special Cell, 2 Nabbed

On Friday, June 30, the Delhi authorities Special Cell dismantled an interstate narcotics cartel and detained two drug dealers, according to the authorities. They were found to have heroin weighing 1.505 kg and tramadol powder weighing 2.126 kg, both valued more than Rs 8 crore, according to the police.
The authorities named the apprehended suspects as Dukhan Yadav and Visheshwar Yadav.

With the arrest of two drug dealers, Dharmender Kumar (age 26) and Visheshwar Yadav (age 40), both natives of Chatra, Jharkhand, the South Western Range of the Special Cell in Delhi has dismantled an interstate narcotics cartel. They were found to be in possession of 2.216 kg of tramadol powder and 1.505 kg of fine-quality heroin, according to the police.

According to a police official, the culprits were apprehended in Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan neighbourhood after the police received particular information about them.

According to specific evidence, one Dharmender, a resident of Jharkhand, would go to the Sarai Kale Khan neighbourhood with another cartel member to transfer a sizable shipment of narcotics to their friends in Delhi. A raiding party was formed right away, and a trap was set in the Sarai Kale Khan region under the general direction of DCP/SWR. Dharmender Kumar, age 26, of Chatra, Jharkhand, and Visheshwar Yadav, age 40 of Chatra, Jharkhand, were taken into custody in an unidentified white Creta Car, according to a police official.

“Dharmender and Visheshwar Yadav, the accused, admitted to having heroin and tramadol on them during the preliminary investigation. After then, the Creta Car contained 2126 grammes of Tramadol powder and 1505 grammes of good grade heroin, according to the official.

As a result, a case was filed at the PS Special Cell under the appropriate parts of the NDPS Act, and an investigation was started. The inquiry into the crime resulted in the arrest of both accused parties, according to the police.

After lengthy questioning, the suspects admitted that they had been to Delhi to distribute heroin on Dinesh Yadav’s orders, the putative Kingpin of the interstate drug trafficking network. The source said, “It was further revealed that they are also involved in Opium cultivation in Jharkhand’s Chatra and exporting it to different parts of the country.”

“After extensive questioning of the defendants, it was discovered that they had travelled to Delhi to provide Heroin at the request/instructions of one Dinesh Yadav, the network’s kingpin. They are all involved in opium growing in the outlying regions of Chatra, Jharkhand, it was further found. Then, using chemicals purchased from nearby markets, they processed the opium to create heroin. The defendant further admitted that Heroin is made more potent by adding Tramadol powder. With the assistance of his colleagues, Dinesh Yadav distributes the heroin to several states in the nation, including Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Delhi/NCR, according to an official.

“Dharmender and Visheshwar Yadav, both of whom are charged, are chronic criminals who have already been engaged in three narcotics trafficking instances. The police said that further attempts are being made to apprehend Dinesh Yadav, the cartel leader.
