Hemant Soren, the chief minister of Jharkhand, said on Thursday that a Digital Skills University will be established there to provide less educated youngsters job-oriented education.
At the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Ranchi’s 2nd Convocation, Soren told the students that the institution will be built for between Rs 300 and 400 crore.
“We have been running programs for skill development. Recently, the government made the decision to establish a digital skills university in an effort to provide technical training to the undereducated young so they might be given employment, according to Soren.
This is the technological era, the CM said. The area of education has expanded, resulting in the establishment of institutions like IIT-ISM, BIT Mesra, IIM, XLRI, and NIT. In a same manner, Ranchi likewise welcomed the IIIT.
He said that young people from Jharkhand had carved out a special place for themselves in both domestic and international schooling.
