Kejriwal Pays Tribute To Soldiers Killed In J-K, Claims Government Showed ‘Hospitality’ To Pakistani Foreign Minister

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, said on Friday that the government is providing “hospitality” in Goa for Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at a time when the nation’s warriors are losing their lives.

In the heavily wooded Kandi region of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, where an operation is ongoing to drive out the ultras, five army men were killed and a major was wounded in an explosion set off by terrorists, according to authorities.

The SCO Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) meeting in Goa is why the Pakistani foreign minister is in India. Bhutto Zardari and S. Jaishankar, the minister of external affairs, did not meet on a bilateral basis.

In response to a question on whether India and Pakistan might have talks to prevent terrorism, Jaishankar said that “victims of terrorism do not sit together with perpetrators of terrorism to discuss terrorism.”

Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national leader Kejriwal said in a tweet in Hindi that “the people of the country are extremely pained and angry with the central government extending hospitality to the Pakistani foreign minister at a time when our soldiers are getting martyred.”

Salutations to the valiant martyrs, he remarked.

Jaishankar launched a scathing assault on Bhutto Zardari, claiming that the SCO conference on Friday exposed him as a “promoter, justifier, and spokesperson” of the terrorist business.

He said that Pakistan’s international standing was deteriorating even more quickly than its foreign currency holdings.

In a tweet in Hindi that paid honour to the troops lost in the tragedy, AAP MP Sanjay Singh criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for planning a trip to Goa for Bhutto Zaradari on the same day that the soldiers gave their lives in battle against terrorists.

He remarked, “Salute and tribute to the brave martyrs,” and then added, “Modi followers are in shock.”

Along with Bhutto Zardari, the conference at a five-star hotel in this seaside resort was also attended by the foreign ministers of China (Qin Gang), Russia (Sergey Lavrov), and other SCO members.
