In the lead-up to the November 7 Mizoram elections, Union Minister of Earth Sciences Kiren Rijiju expressed confidence in the BJP’s win on Sunday.

Because we are represented in the legislative assembly, the BJP will have a bigger say in how Mizoram develops. This time, the BJP will get an extremely sizable number of seats. We would have a two-engine administration at the federal and state levels if the BJP wins control of Mizoram, Rijiju said in an interview with ANI.

He questioned how the Congress party would perform and keep the promises made in the manifesto, claiming that the BJP is the only party that would keep its word.

“The BJP is the only party who will fulfil the commitments,” Rijiju said. If a manifesto in Mizoram is released by Congress. Can they put it into action? They are unable to carry it out. They won’t be able to get seats in Mizoram. In Delhi, they are not in charge. How will the Congress party carry out and abide by the manifesto commitments made?

Additionally, he said that the people of Mizoram recognize that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the only leader who really cares about the northeast and wants to see it transformed.

“Mizoram is a stunning state with an abundance of natural resources and people. Assist. The Narendra Modi

Ji is the only leader capable of transforming the whole area and the only one who is fully supporting the development of Northeast India. Encourage @BJP4India @BJP4Mizoram, Rijiju wrote on X.

Rijiju said that Mizoram’s elections are distinct from those in other states since there aren’t any door-to-door campaigning, election posters, banners, or sloganeering.

“There won’t be any door-to-door campaigns, electoral posters, banners, or sloganeering. It seems as if the election is still ongoing since nothing is occurring. However, internal election procedures are underway. There are some events and gatherings occurring, but they are happening in a completely different manner. This time, the BJP is returning to Mizoram, and he expressed great optimism that they would be able to secure a sizable number of seats and have a significant influence on the government’s formation.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unveiled its first list of twelve candidates for the next Mizoram Assembly elections on Wednesday.

Among the five states holding elections is Mizoram. Mizoram will hold elections on November 7 and tally the results on December 3.
