Kolhapur Experiences A Medium-Intensity Tremor In Maharashtra, No Casualties Reported

The National Centre for Seismology reported that a 3.4 magnitude medium intensity earthquake struck the Kolhapur district of Maharashtra on Wednesday morning.

It said that the earthquake took place at a depth of 5 kilometers at 6:45 am.

No casualties or property damage were reported right away.

About 375 kilometers west of Mumbai lies Kolhapur, which is in the state of Maharashtra.
