Launch Of Chandrayaan-3: PM Narendra Modi Wishes The Mission Well And Claims It Carries Indian Dreams

At 2.35 p.m. today, Chandrayaan-3, India’s third lunar mission, will lift off from the spaceport in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent his best wishes to the ISRO team and said that, as far as India’s space industry is concerned, July 14, 2023 would always be inscribed in gold letters.

“Our third lunar expedition, Chandrayaan-3, will set off on its voyage. The aspirations and ambitions of our country will be carried by this amazing endeavor, he tweeted.

Currently, Prime Minister Modi is in France on a two-day trip. Modi praised the strength of the nation and the way that everywhere Indians travel, a mini-India is created. He was speaking to the Indian diaspora in Paris. “Only intellect and technology will enable the 21st century to advance. Reverse counting for Chandrayaan 3’s launch has begun as I talk to you. The alliance between India and France “can help show the world a new direction,” he added.

After Isro’s Chandrayaan-2 mission was unsuccessful four years ago, Chandrayaan-3 will make a second attempt at a soft landing on the Moon’s surface. After being launched into lunar orbit, the spacecraft, which is outfitted with a lander and rover, will separate from the Propulsion Module.

To honor the day Chandrayaan-3 was launched, renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik, who creates stunning sculptures along Odisha’s Puri beach, built a sizable sculpture.

As part of the nation’s ambitious moon quest, Chandrayaan-3 will be launched on a “fat boy” LVM3-M4 rocket on Friday. If the effort is successful, India would become the fourth nation after the United States, China, and the erstwhile Soviet Union to accomplish the feat.
