On Monday, Tata Steel UISL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel, said that the business was taking steps to stop the spread of dengue and other vector-borne illnesses in Jamshedpur City during the monsoon season.
According to a statement from Tata Steel UISL, a thorough plan has been put in place to stop and manage dengue transmission. Strenuous monitoring to find and eliminate mosquito larvae in residential areas was one of Tata Steel UISL’s main initiatives.
Thorough inspections and measures are being taken by trained professionals to get rid of the possible breeding locations. A total of 180,062 homes were monitored from April to June of this year, and 4,193 of those homes had mosquito larvae, according to the statement.
In addition, Tata Steel UISL is making great efforts to find culex mosquito breeding grounds in outdoor stagnant water, drains, ditches, and riverbeds.
