A painful road accident took place in Mumbai today. The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus rammed into another public vehicle. One person died due to its grip. He had died on the spot. According to the information, the BEST bus was going from Bhatia Bagh towards Backbay Depot. Only then this accident happened.
According to the official, the incident took place at 6 am today. A public transport was speeding and it was near Badhwar Park in South Mumbai when it collided with BEST’s bus. Due to which the person passing on that way was hit by it and he died. The speeding vehicle pushed the bus for about 120 feet and also hit a car and six bikes, the official said.
Meanwhile, a pedestrian came under the rear left tire of the BEST bus and was dragged for at least 100 feet. The pedestrian has not yet been identified, he said. He suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to the nearby GT Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police said that a case has been registered and police are probing the matter.
