Maharashtra: Activists Of Uddhav Thackeray Faction Tore Posters Of MP Navneet Rana

Shiv Sena (UBT) workers removed posters of local MP Navneet Rana and her MLA husband Ravi Rana in Amravati, Maharashtra ahead of Uddhav Thackeray’s visit to Vidarbha. Thackeray is on a two-day tour of Vidarbha from Sunday. The Rana couple had said that they would recite Hanuman Chalisa from 9 am to 2 pm at the Girls High School crossing here and their supporters had also put up posters to inform about it.

Independent MP from Amravati Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana were arrested in April last year after they were asked to recite Hanuman Chalisa in front of Matoshree, the private residence of the then Chief Minister Thackeray. Later, both was released on bail. In retaliation, workers of Ravi Rana’s Yuva Swabhiman Party tore posters of Thackeray put up by the Shiv Sena (UBT) near Jaistambh Square and the Government Guest House, where the former CM is staying overnight.

Uddhav Thackeray is on a two-day Vidarbha tour. During this he addressed the workers of Washim-Yavatmal. Also visited Pohra Devi. This time Thackeray has targeted Shinde-BJP-Pawar. Uddhav Thackeray will go to Amravati this evening.

Banners of Rana couple have been put up at Girls High School Chowk in Amravati city, in which it is written that they will recite Hanuman Chalisa tomorrow. Uddhav Thackeray will hold a dialogue meeting of workers at some distance from the place where Hanuman Chalisa will be recited tomorrow. So now the controversy has increased on this banner fight and the workers of Uddhav Thackeray faction have torn these banners.
