Adar was born to Dr. Cyrus S. Poonawalla and Villu Poonawalla’s house. He did his early education from Pune. After this, he went to the University of Westminster, London for further studies, from where he completed his graduation. After studies, Adar Poonawalla joined the Serum Institute of India and played an important role in expanding the business. He became the CEO of Serum Institute of India 10 years after joining the company.
