Maharashtra: Big Blow For Sharad Pawar, All 7 NCP MLAs In Nagaland Will Support Ajit Pawar

NCP chief Sharad Pawar seems to be getting another big blow. In fact, all the seven MLAs of the party in Nagaland are ready to support Ajit Pawar. All these seven MLAs said on Thursday that the party workers of Nagaland want them to extend their support to Ajit Pawar.

Let us inform you that in the beginning of July, Ajit Pawar along with eight MLAs of the party announced to join BJP and Shiv Sena alliance in Maharashtra. After this decision of Ajit Pawar, NCP got divided into two camps. One camp is the one which is with NCP founder Sharad Pawar and the other one is giving its support to Ajit Pawar.

Political experts are also considering this step of Ajit Pawar as a decision taken keeping in view the future. He believes that the way Eknath Shinde divided the Shiv Sena into two camps when Uddhav Thackeray was the CM in Maharashtra and later became the CM of the state and took control over the Shiv Sena, similarly Ajit Pawar is also seeking control over the party.

In 2019, the Shiv Sena ended its alliance with the BJP and formed the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra with the Congress and the NCP. Uddhav Thackeray’s government in Maharashtra fell last year after Eknath Shinde split the party and joined hands with the BJP to form a new government. And later Eknath Shinde was sworn in as the CM of the state.

Describing his leadership as the “real NCP”, Ajit Pawar has won the support of senior party leaders such as Praful Patel, Chhagan Bhujbal and Dilip Walse Patil.
