In Maharashtra’s Wardha district, the police caught the robbers who fled after looting Rs 4.52 crore in a filmy style in just 5 hours. According to reports, the miscreants had looted Rs 4 crore 52 lakh by posing as fake police. The miscreants had put red beacons in their car and came with sirens blaring. They made away with Rs 4.52 crore including the car by putting a pistol on the head of a car rider. Police have recovered Rs 3 crore 26 lakh 50 thousand out of the car and loot amount from the five arrested accused.
After getting information about the robbery incident in public and in film style, the police started the search operation and caught the five accused within 5 hours. However, it is not yet clear why and where the person was going with such a huge amount of money in the car. Police is investigating to whom this amount belongs and to whom it was to be given in Hyderabad. According to reports, this robbery incident took place on the night of 6th September in Pohna located in Badnera, Wardha. The looted amount belongs to a person named Kamlesh Shah who is a businessman from Gujarat.
Kamlesh Shah comes to Nagpur often in connection with business. On September 6, Shah had asked his driver Athe Singh Solanki to take money from his employee Nitin Joshi to Hyderabad. Solanki left for Hyderabad with his associate named Arvind Patel with Rs 4.5 crore in the car. The accused had already got information about Shah’s car and they carried out the robbery with complete planning. However, they were caught by the police within a few hours of committing the robbery.
