Rain has started once again in Maharashtra. The Meteorological Department estimates that rain will continue for the next few days. Monsoon has been active in the state since Thursday. Due to this, many districts including Konkan, Marathwada, Vidarbha have received good rains. IMD estimates that there will be rain in the state for the next few days.
According to the forecast of Mumbai IMD, orange alert has been given for rain in Konkan. Heavy rains are expected in Konkan and Goa on 9 and 10 September, but heavy rains also occurred in Central Maharashtra on the same dates. Yellow alert has been issued for most of the districts of Central Maharashtra today. There will be heavy rain in Marathwada today. But the Meteorological Department estimates that the rain will reduce from tomorrow i.e. Sunday.
Meanwhile, a yellow alert for rain has been issued by the Meteorological Department in Vidarbha today. It is expected that there will be heavy rain in Vidarbha today but after that there will be a pause in rain for the next 2 days. After this, rain will become active again in Vidarbha. The weather department has made such estimates.
According to the forecast given by the India Meteorological Department, in the forecast for the next 4 weeks, there is a possibility of rain in Konkan, North Central Maharashtra, parts of Marathwada and parts of Vidarbha from 8 to 14 September. There may be rain in parts of Konkan Division, Vidarbha during September 15 to 21. Average rain is expected from 22 to 28 September and from 29 September to 5 October. Therefore, the focus of the farmers is on what relief will be provided by the rain for the next 15 days. How much of the rain deficit will be compensated and will it provide any benefit to the farmers?
