Explain that passenger Kavraj Tagat Singh was caught smoking in the toilet during IndiGo’s Dubai-Mumbai flight, after which the crew member complained to the Mumbai Police. At the same time, the Mumbai Police has registered a case against the passenger under Section 336 of the IPC and Section 25 of the Aircraft Rules.

The incident of smoking was also revealed last month

It is noteworthy that smoking is banned in flight, but despite this, many cases of smoking in flight have been reported in the past. Last month, a youth was booked for smoking in the toilet of a Bahrain-Mumbai flight. The incident took place when the Indigo flight was on its way to Mumbai International Airport.
