Lashing out at the BJP in Maharashtra and the Modi government at the Centre, Maharashtra Congress state president Nana Patole said that now people realize that they have shot themselves in the foot by voting for the BJP. People will not give a chance to BJP now. The condition is that the finger with which you voted for BJP has been amputated. Nana Patole alleged that BJP came to power in 2014 with fake promises to the public. The natural face of the BJP has now come to the fore. People are repenting after voting. People are repenting in their mind for ‘Ek hi bhool, Kamal ka ful’. In Ulhasnagar, a person said that the finger with which he voted for BJP has to be amputated. This incident is mind-boggling.
The Congress leader said that fear and corruption are the characteristics of BJP. Like the BJP government at the Centre, the BJP-led government in Maharashtra has also become unpopular among the people. The MLAs and MPs of the ruling party are openly bullying.
In Mumbai, Shinde faction’s MLA son abducted and thrashed an officer, another MLA opened fire. An MLA is threatening to the extent of gouging out the eyes of the officers. Nandkumar Nanavare of Ulhasnagar committed suicide by jumping from the third floor with his wife after being harassed by ruling party MLAs, MPs and their associates, but police were not probing it.
Nana Patole said that lawlessness is increasing in the state and on the other hand, Home Minister Fadnavis is expressing breaking political parties. He doesn’t care about the home department. It is unfortunate that the people of Maharashtra are fed up with the political tussle between BJP and Fadnavis.
