Monsoon seems to be returning again in the politics of Maharashtra. This is being said because a big statement by the NCP supremo has changed the direction of the winds of the entire politics. Sharad Pawar has given a statement that Ajit Pawar is our leader, there is no dispute in this. Not only this, he also said that there is no split in NCP. If any leader has taken a different role then it is his right in a democracy.
After this statement of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, there has been a stir in the politics of Maharashtra. A day before Pawar’s statement, Supriya Sule had also said that NCP is united and Ajit Dada is our leader. Actually, when Sharad Pawar was questioned that the confusion is that on one hand it is being said that there is a split in the NCP. But yesterday (Supriya) Tai announced that there is no split in NCP and (Ajit) Dada is our leader.
In response to this question, Sharad Pawar said, “Yes, there is no dispute in this. What does it mean to split? A split in the party occurs when a large section of the party at the country level has split. Today such situation is not here. Suppose if some people left the party or some people took a different role then it is their right in a democracy. If they have taken a decision then there is no reason to say ‘split’ No, it’s their decision.
