Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Sanjay Raut said that Sharad Pawar has not named Ajit Pawar as his leader. Sharad Pawar is a distinguished leader and he is the Bhishma Pitamah of politics. Sanjay Raut was reacting to Sharad Pawar’s statement in which he called Ajit Pawar his own leader. After this statement of Sharad Pawar, once again there were speculations of some internal coordination between uncle and nephew.
Sanjay Raut said that I have heard his statement. He said that there is no division in our party. He has not said anywhere in his statement that Ajit Pawar is my leader. Yes, well he is the leader of the party. Sanjay Raut further said that Mr. Sharad Pawar is the Bhishma Pitamah of the politics and he has a reputation in the Maharashtra and country. Sanjay Raut said that Pawar saheb was in Kolhapur and he attacked those people who left the party. Thousands of people had gathered in this meeting.
Sanjay Raut said that there are two ways to fight. There are two traditions in Maharashtra. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Shiv Sena fights directly in the field. The second is guerrilla warfare. We are fighting directly with those who did dishonesty with us. Pawar saheb has adopted the path of guerrilla warfare.
In fact, yesterday Sharad Pawar had given a statement that Ajit Pawar is our leader, there is no dispute in this. Not only this, he also said that there is no split in NCP. If any leader has taken a different role then it is his right in a democracy. After this statement of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, there was a stir in the politics of Maharashtra. A day before Pawar’s statement, Supriya Sule had also said that NCP is united and Ajit Dada is our leader. Actually, when Sharad Pawar was questioned that the confusion is that on one hand it is being said that there is a split in the NCP, but yesterday (Supriya) Tai announced that there is no split in NCP and (Ajit) Dada is our leader.
In response to this question, Sharad Pawar said, “Yes, there is no dispute in this. What does it mean to split? A split in the party occurs when a large section of the party at the country level has split. There is no such situation today. Suppose if some people left the party or some people took a different role then it is their right in a democracy. If they have taken a decision then there is no reason to say ‘split’, it’s their decision.
