God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar has come under attack for promoting online gaming. A protest was held against master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar outside his house in Mumbai on Thursday. This demonstration was done by Maharashtra’s Independent MLA Bachchu Kadu and his supporters.
Bachchu Kadu shared many photos regarding the performance on Twitter. He also explained the reason for the protest by tweeting several times. Bachchu wrote, “Repeatedly requested Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar to stop Paytm First Gambling ads. But till now it has not happened. We are not against Tendulkar but it is indecent for a Bharat Ratna person. Or So he should stop the advertisement or return the Bharat Ratna.”
Omprakash Babarao Kadu (Bachchu Kadu) is an independent member of the Legislative Assembly from Achalpur, Maharashtra. Achalpur assembly constituency is a part of Amravati (Lok Sabha constituency). He has been elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for four consecutive terms from 2004 to 2019. He has also been a minister in the Maharashtra government in the past. Bachchu is currently serving a two-year sentence in a case against him.
Even before this, Bachchu Kadu had threatened Sachin Tendulkar regarding online gaming. He had talked about sending a legal notice to Sachin Tendulkar.
