It is being told that this is a video of Ambad taluka of Jalna district of Maharashtra. Accusing the rural contractor Rana Thakur, he is telling that the road was constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Seeing the viral video, it seems that the carpet was laid directly on the road without adding gravel etc. and the road was prepared by putting asphalt on it. The villagers are alleging that extreme corruption has been done in this. They are saying that the contractor Rana Thakur has done a lot of useless work.
After this video went viral, it is being told in local media reports that the road has been built with German technology. But it doesn’t seem like it from the road. There is anger among the villagers about the poor construction of the road.
