According to a police officer, a school teacher was detained on Monday in Kalyan, Thane district, for allegedly abusing a male 5-year-old kid.
According to a Kolsewadi police station officer, dance instructor Sameer Kadam was detained in accordance with the laws of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Indian Penal Code.
According to the accusation, Kadam sexually assaulted the youngster on Friday in the school bathroom. More investigation is being done, he added.
