A 17-year-old boy and his companion were killed in an accident in Maharashtra’s Thane district after they traveled in a vehicle given to the child’s parents, according to police. According to an Ambernath police officer, a vehicle collided with a tree on the Ulhasnagar-Ambernath road on Tuesday night. A 17-year-old youth and his companion died in this accident. As soon as information about the matter was received, the police reached the spot and started action.
The child was behind the wheel of the automobile that his parents received as a present, according to the police. He was out driving when the vehicle they were in collided with a tree, hurting both of them, according to his 18-year-old companion. The official said that the two were taken to a hospital where medical staff pronounced them dead. The police noted that a case of accidental death was filed after the remains were sent to a government hospital for post-mortem examination. Police are investigating further in this matter.
