Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, gave authorities in the Thane district instructions on Tuesday to create a comprehensive plan for property taxes and building in the 27 villages that make up the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation.
Shinde conducted a meeting in Mumbai with a number of committees made up of rural representatives. According to a statement from the conference, the idea of building a monument for spiritual leader Sawalaram Maharaj was also considered.
