Share

The Enforcement Directorate has arrested two people in connection with the alleged scam in the Covid Center in Maharashtra during the Corona epidemic. Sujit Patkar and Dr. Kishore Bisure have been arrested in this. Sujit Patkar is considered close to Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut. It is being said that this action has been taken on the basis of the complaint of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kirit Somaiya.

It is alleged that a scam has been done in the jumbo covid centers set up by the BMC in Mumbai. According to the allegations, the contract of Covid centers was given by BMC to ineligible people. Kirit Somaiya had alleged that contracts were given to some companies which were formed just before Covid. It is alleged that the Municipal Corporation bypassed these rules and gave the contract to new companies.

In this case, ED raided many places in Mumbai. Regarding relations with Sujit Patkar, Sanjay Raut has said that he is only his friend. Sujit Patkar’s wife and Varsha Raut were named in the ED’s investigation. Sujit Patkar says, ‘I am just a partner in Lifesciences Hospital & Management Firm. The ownership of the company is with Hemant Gupta and this company is registered in the name of his clinic.’

Let us tell you that earlier the name of Sanjay Raut’s wife Varsha Raut had also surfaced in connection with the Patra Chawl scam. Sanjay Raut was arrested in this case and he was in jail for a long time.
