Manish Sisodia Came Out Of Jail After Months, Reached Home To See His Sick Wife

Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia has come out of jail after months. Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI in the Excise Policy case, and his wife is sick. The court has given Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia permission for the whole day to see his ailing wife and inquire about her well-being. Manish Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on 26 February this year. Since then, Manish Sisodia has not been able to get bail despite applying several times and is lodged in jail.

Amidst not getting bail, the Delhi High Court has allowed Manish Sisodia to go home for 7 hours. He will be with his wife at his home today from 10 am to 5 pm. After this, he will have to return to jail again because Manish Sisodia has not got any kind of bail till now.

To consider the bail application of Manish Sisodia, the court has asked that Manish Sisodia should file the medical records of his wife. As per the court’s order, Manish Sisodia will stay at his home while in police custody and will meet his wife. During this, he cannot meet any outsider other than his family members. Also, he is not allowed to use the internet or talk to the media.

Manish Sisodia was arrested after questioning in connection with the alleged scam related to Delhi’s excise policy. Since then he is in the custody of CBI and ED. He has also applied for bail several times but every time his bail plea has been rejected.
