Mcap Of Six Of The Top Ten Most Valuable Companies Increases By Rs. 1.19 Trillion; Reliance Is The Largest Beneficiary

The market valuation of six of the top ten most valuable companies increased by Rs 1,19,763.25 crore last week, with Reliance Industries Limited and ITC emerging as the biggest gainers, led by a general upward trend in domestic stocks.

The 30-share BSE benchmark increased by 561.89 points or 0.86 percent last week. On July 7, the Sensex reached a record high of 65,898.98.

Reliance Industries had the largest value increase among the top 10 companies, rising by Rs 57,338.56 crore to Rs 17,83,043.16 crore.

ITC increased by Rs 21,291.04 billion, bringing its market value to Rs 5,82,602.46 billion.

The market capitalization (mcap) of Tata Consultancy Services soared by Rs 9,220.81 crore to Rs 12,16,890.72 crore, while that of State Bank of India increased by Rs 18,697.06 crore to Rs 5,29,898.83 crore.

Hindustan Unilever Limited’s value increased by Rs 4,217.52 crore to Rs 6,33,532.04 crore, while that of ICICI Bank increased by Rs 8,998.26 crore to Rs 6,62,702.30 crore.

However, HDFC Bank’s market capitalization decreased by Rs 22,926.37 crore to Rs 9,28,657.99 crore.

The value of Bharti Airtel decreased by Rs 5,219.66 crore to Rs 4,84,844.10 crore, while that of HDFC decreased by Rs 9,782.7 crore to Rs 5,12,585.94 crore.

Infosys’ market value dropped from Rs. 5,52,452.86 to Rs. 1,638.41 crore.

Reliance Industries remained at the top of the list in the top-10 rankings, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Infosys, State Bank of India, HDFC, and Bharti Airtel.
